These documents are provided in good faith for an early-access product and should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before commercial launch.
1.Introduction and acceptance
These terms govern your use of SaveMyBudget, operated by IK Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, Company Number 09477473, trading address 843 Finchley Road, London, NW11 8NA (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By joining the waitlist, installing our tag or using the service, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2.Description of the service
SaveMyBudget monitors paid traffic arriving at your landing pages, detects invalid and fraudulent clicks that Google's own filters do not catch, reports what it finds, and — where you enable it — prepares and files invalid-click refund claims with Google on your behalf and tracks their outcome.
3.Early access
The service is currently in early access. During this period it is provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and we offer no uptime or service-level guarantee at this stage.
4.Google Ads account access
- You connect your Google Ads account through Google OAuth. Access is read-only to begin with.
- Any write access — for example applying IP exclusions to your campaigns — is a separate permission that you must explicitly enable.
- You may revoke our access at any time through your Google account, which will end the corresponding functionality.
5.Agent-of-record mandate for claims
By enabling claim filing, you authorise IK Ventures Ltd to act as your agent for the purpose of preparing and submitting invalid-click refund claims (including Click Quality Form submissions) to Google on your behalf, and to correspond with Google about those claims.
You remain the holder of your Google Ads account and remain responsible for the accuracy of the account and billing information used in those claims. You may withdraw this mandate at any time in writing, which will apply to claims not yet submitted.
6.No guarantee of outcome
Google is the sole arbiter of what counts as an invalid click. Refunds are issued entirely at Google's discretion, and typically take the form of ad credits rather than cash.
We cannot guarantee that any claim will be accepted, in whole or in part. “Flagged spend” shown in the product is our estimate of spend at risk based on our own detection — it is not a promise of a refund and should not be treated as one.
7.Verified savings and fees
“Verified savings” means the clicks that Google marks invalid in response to a claim we file, valued at the actual keyword/day segment CPC of those specific clicks. Any success fee is charged as a percentage of verified savings, and the full calculation behind every claim is shown to you.
Pricing is not active during early access. We will give notice before any fees begin to apply, and you may decline and stop using the service at that point.
8.Your obligations
- Install the tag correctly across the landing pages that receive your paid traffic.
- Keep Google Ads auto-tagging enabled so click identifiers are available for reconciliation.
- Provide accurate account, contact and billing information.
- Use the service lawfully and not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or interfere with it.
9.The tag and your website
We design the tag to fail safe: it loads asynchronously, contains its own errors, and does not retry aggressively if our servers are unreachable. It cannot modify your page. Even so, you are responsible for testing the tag on your own site and confirming it behaves as expected in your environment before relying on it.
10.Threat intelligence
You agree that aggregated, pseudonymised threat signals derived from traffic to your site — such as offending IP addresses, subnets, device fingerprints and ASNs — may be used to improve detection for all customers. Your business data, including campaigns, keywords, spend, conversions and claim outcomes, is never shared with other customers.
11.Intellectual property
The service, the tag, our detection logic, models and all related materials remain our property. You keep ownership of your own data and your Google Ads account. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the service for your own business during the term.
12.Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost advertising spend, lost revenue, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and during early access — where no fees are paid — to GBP 100.
13.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your breach of these terms, or inaccurate information you provide that we rely on when filing a claim on your behalf.
14.Termination
You may stop using the service and remove the tag at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination we stop processing your data and delete or return it in line with our Privacy Policy.
15.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and we will notify you of material changes before they take effect.
16.Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
